Every Step Counts in the "GPL in Motion" Healthy Walking Challenge

Start 2013 out on the right foot!  Join the Guelph Public Library’s “GPL in Motion! Healthy Walking Challenge.”  Thanks to the wonderful community support and donation from Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph (WDG) inMotion, the GPL now has 100 pedometers available for Guelph residents to borrow.  These simple step counting tools are available at every library location and can be checked out for four weeks at a time.

Any GPL cardholder can participate in the Healthy Walking Challenge.  All you need to do is borrow a pedometer from any library location.  The registration information is located within each pedometer kit.  The 14-day challenge begins on Monday, January 14th and runs until the 28th.   All steps should be logged online or submitted to any library location by Thursday, January 31st for a chance to win a “healthy” prize package!

What are you waiting for?  Drop into any library location to borrow a pedometer today!  Remember every step counts!
