of all material held in the archives of the Guelph Public Library.

About the Archives
The archives of the Guelph Public Library acquires and
preserves records in a variety of formats that document
the history of the City of Guelph. In addition to collecting
private material of historical significance, the archives
also operates as the unofficial repository for records
created by the City of Guelph government.

Photo Database
The archives holds and preserves a growing collection of
images documenting the City of Guelph and environs.

Accessing the Archives
While the archives endeavours to provide on-the-spot reference services,
this is not always possible and it is recommended that you make an
appointment before you visit. Also included here is information on
the handling of archival records and reproduction fees.
